Not only they are usually copyrighted but also 3-4 family friends of you guys already picked the same song for their wedding video before you. The most important that we want to ensure that the couple’s wedding video reflects their style and personality in every way possible, including the music. In order to do this, I always ask if there are any specific songs, singers or genres that the bride or groom absolutely hate or would prefer not to include in their wedding video. Sometimes, I even ask to name a few song they absolutely hate. Note, that we only ask the bride and groom not the immediate family because it would create confusion if parents would be able to express their opinion. While we want to choose music that represents the bride and groom’s unique style and preferences, it’s equally important to make sure that they are comfortable with the music choices. The main point is that we will collaborate closely with our couples to ensure that the music for their wedding movie exactly captures the essence of their special day, while also taking their preferences and dislikes into account.
