WOMAN’S CLUB OF COCONUT GROVE – MIAMI INDIAN CHRISTIAN FUSION WEDDING

Miami offers a plethora of wedding venues, but few combine historic charm, tropical elegance, and a sense of community quite like the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove. This is where Monica and Will decided to have their Indian Christian fusion wedding. This iconic location, steeped in history and surrounded by the vibrant energy of Coconut Grove, provides the ideal setting for couples seeking a unique and unforgettable wedding experience. Huge thanks to Ayesha, our wedding coordinator by Events by Ayesha.

The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove is one of Miami’s most treasured landmarks. Established in 1891, it began as a community hub where local women gathered to promote education, philanthropy, and cultural enrichment. Over the years, the club became an influential force in shaping Coconut Grove’s identity and progress. The building itself, constructed in 1921, was designed by renowned architect Walter de Garmo. Its Mediterranean Revival style, with arched windows, high vaulted ceilings, and warm stucco walls, embodies the essence of early 20th-century Florida architecture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the venue is not only a testament to the area’s rich history but also a stunningly preserved piece of Miami’s past.

Situated in the heart of Coconut Grove, the Woman’s Club is easily accessible and surrounded by some of Miami’s best attractions. Guests can enjoy the nearby Biscayne Bay views, boutique shopping, and vibrant dining scene before or after your big day. The neutral yet sophisticated décor acts as a blank canvas, allowing couples to customize the space to match their wedding theme, colors, and style. One of the standout features of the venue is its flexibility to host both indoor and outdoor events. Say your vows under the shade of lush palm trees or beneath a canopy of twinkling lights in the garden, then move indoors for a refined and festive reception.
