Portugal’s parliament passed a bill Friday that would make the predominantly Catholic nation the sixth in Europe to permit gay marriage. Currently, five countries allow same-sex marriages: Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Norway. Many other countries have introduced civil partnerships, which give lesbian and gay couples some of the rights of married heterosexuals. The…

Hi,
I’ve been looking for a lens to do what you’ve got going on in this shot, or the opening banner shot of the B&G at hip level, with the officiant slightly blurred. That’s what I’m after…
What lens and body were used for this?
thanks,

A wedding ceremony has been organized for two monkeys in India. It is funny! It is not a joke. You can see the pictures on BBC. 3,000 villagers from the region have attended the elaborate Hindu wedding ceremony! The bride was dressed in a five-metre long sari and decked in flowers. The “groom”, a three-year-old…

I just wanted to write a quick article about my favorite magazine; National Geographic. The magazine’s history started on January 13, 1888, when 33 explorers and scientists gathered at the Cosmos Club, a private club then located on Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., to organize “a society for the increase and diffusion of geographical knowledge.”…
